ARTWORKS Corridor competition and current works

Congratulations to the following 6th grade art students whose art work was selected among 130 entries and 9 schools to hang in the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art ! The exhibit is entitled Color Vibrations. Of the forty-one students selected, Trinity's own, Ensley Craven, Ben Pope, Mackenzie LeGrand and Madison McKelvey will have their art work hanging in the exhibit. The student work was inspired by the work of artist Lois Mailou Jones.
The Color Vibrations exhibit will be on view from March 15th through June 10th, 2012.
There will be an opening reception on Thursday, March 15 from 6:00-7:00 to honor these students.

6th grade students are currently working on the Alabama Wildlife Federation competition.
7th grade students are currently work on their Self Portraits using the 7 elements of design. They have completed Line, Shape and we are working on Value and Color.

I look forward to seeing lots of my students running in the TPS 5K and Fun this weekend !

Also, please remind students that have missing work that it is their responsibility to turn in their work. I have graded all work that I have received to date.
